Mongabay.com describes David Fedele as a “one-man guerrilla filmmaker.” Watch this trailer for his documentary E-Wasteland and you’ll agree. It’s hard to believe that the young boy in the clip pounds on old electronics equipment all day every day. As a result, he is exposed to plenty of toxic substances. But nobody seems to care, which is why the illegal dumping of electronic waste in underdeveloped countries (in this instance, Ghana) is a huge and growing problem.
