Highlights of a Documentary about a Starving Orangutan Named Green

We could have just as easily put this video in the Eco-Music section because it’s really a music video by an Indonesian rock band named Navicula.

But their song is specifically for a documentary called “Green: The Film,” which is about a starving orangutan named Green who is trying to survive the onslaught of loggers who are cutting down Green’s natural habitat. Why are they cutting? To get at the palm oil.

We wouldn’t be surprised if this video affects you in different ways. The music ain’t bad, but the situation Green is in is really bad.
