British Group ‘Sustainability in Sport’ Works to ‘Green’ the Sports Scene

You won’t understand the reason behind the group Sustainability in Sport unless you understand the importance of the word “sustainability” in all things environmental.

Something is sustainable if it’s made or carried out in a way that does NOT use up the planet’s natural resources

Sustainable clothing is clothing that’s made in a way that doesn’t use a lot of water, energy or raw materials. Sustainable transportation means getting around without using a lot of oil as fuel.

Get the idea now?

Sustainability in Sport is a British group that works to make sport sustainable by supporting projects that allow teams to use solar-powered electricity, rain water “harvesting” systems, low-carbon transportation, and similar schemes.

Why not start a sustainability sports group in your area?
