Eco-Science

Every day a scientist somewhere in the world is discovering something that changes what we know about and how we view the environment. It can be a new species, an environmentally-friendlier way to make things, a new approach to solving climate change. Because many of these scientific discoveries have the potential to change our lives in profound ways, Earth Preservers devotes an entire section to “Eco-Science.”

Another school year is just around the corner and you know what that means: you’re going to have to think of a project for your science fair.

See how playing classical music affects the growth rate of plants.

A couple of Canadian teenagers did just that on the theory that, as one of them told a reporter: “Humans are really affected by music. So we also were wondering if other organisms were affected as much as us.”
