ECO-KIDS ON CAMERA

As more and more people shoot their own videos and share them with friends, the number of videos featuring kids who care about the environment is exploding! There are millions of things an eco-kid can do to help protect the planet, which means Earth Preservers won’t be finished showing you all their videos for, like, a gazillion years.

British Kids Inspire Climate Change Video (with Aliens!)

The Sheffield City Council in England got a group of young children to work with a professional production company and what did they come up with?

Something totally unique, totally bizarre, totally fun, totally entertaining and, oh yeah, totally educational.

It’s called “Shadow of a Dinosaur.” It’s what happens when Aliens come to earth and learn about climate change.

10 million have heard her speak

On YouTube this video comes with the title: “The Girl Who Silenced the World for 5 Minutes.”

It’s all about a girl who gave an impassioned speech before a United Nations meeting on the future of the planet.

The quality isn’t great, but this may be the most impassioned speech you have ever heard. The question is: does she speak for you?

He’s a Goofball, and a Little Obnoxious, But He Fights Hard for Green Causes

“Eco Joe” is the sort of guy who probably cracks jokes in class.

But as this video shows, even self-described goofballs can save the planet.

Eco Joe’s cause is to make sure an oceanfront development is built without doing damage to the environment.

He’s brought along a lot of helpers.

Let a bunch of green kids set the record straight: The first of the 3 Rs is “reduce.” As you know, the other two are “reuse” and “recycle.”

Kids Show What the 2nd ‘R is for Reuse

Last time we showed you a group of kids in a school lunchroom and how they make their point that it’s as important to “reduce” as it is to “recycle.”

We sort of forgot to mention the second R – REUSE.

So here’s a video all about reusing that will get you thinking about how the 3Rs work really well with one another.
